1) Services

We provide:

• Book Sales: Links to third-party platforms (Amazon, Kindle, Audible) for purchases. Signed hardcover editions may be available directly through this Site in the future.

• Bonus Videos: Access to companion video content is available via email signup.

• Coaching & Business Pitch Sessions: Paid one-on-one sessions with Benjamin Chen booked through our scheduling system.

• Jiu-Jitsu Seminars/Events: Announced on this Site with ticketing/payment processed through third-party platforms such as Eventbrite.

2) Payments

• All payments for coaching sessions, merchandise, and future signed hardcover copies are processed securely by our commerce partners (e.g., Stripe, Squarespace Commerce, Eventbrite).

• Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.

3) Refund Policy

• Coaching sessions: No refunds once booked.

• Jiu-Jitsu seminars/events: Refunds are subject to Eventbrite’s policy. Additional waivers/disclaimers may apply at registration.

• Signed hardcover books (when available): Refunds only if damaged or not delivered.

• Merchandise (T-shirts, hats, etc.): Refunds or exchanges only if items are defective or undelivered.

4) User Responsibilities

• Coaching clients: Must provide accurate information when booking. Intake forms and materials (e.g., business plans) must be submitted truthfully and on time.

• Seminar/event participants: Must sign any required waiver or disclaimer provided via Eventbrite. Participation is at your own risk, including potential injury.

5) Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• Coaching sessions, seminars, and videos are for educational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, financial, or medical advice.

• We make no guarantees about outcomes from coaching, training, or seminars.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: injuries, data loss, or business interruption.

• Jiu-Jitsu is a physical activity. By registering for seminars or training, you acknowledge the inherent risks and agree to participate responsibly.

6) Third-Party Platforms

• Purchases and registrations processed through Amazon, Kindle, Audible, Eventbrite, MailerLite, Google Forms, or Squarespace are subject to those providers’ terms and policies.

• We are not responsible for errors, delays, or service interruptions on third-party platforms.

7) Intellectual Property

All content on this Site (text, images, videos, logos, branding) is owned by From The Mat Academy unless otherwise credited. You may not reproduce or distribute without permission.

8) Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in U.S. courts located in [State of Choice, e.g., New York or California].
